Introducing: Harper Lawrence Bags
"From a mystery bag moment in Miami to a new brand on my radar, here’s why Harper Lawrence stuck with me." Megs Mahoney Dusil
March 2026
Last year, I was at an event in Miami and spotted a bag that I couldn’t quite place. I thought it looked like Hermès, not only because of the design elements but also because the quality was superb (and yes, I could tell from far away and up close). I texted Bari, who, as you know, covers all things Hermés for our site, and said: “Which H bag is this?!” She responded with, “It’s not, but how beautiful!” And thus began my search and introduction to Harper Lawrence bags.
The bag that first caught my attention, and the bag I will focus on today, is the aptly named Harper Lawrence : Lawrence Tote.

The Bag That Caught My Eye The Harper Lawrence: Lawrence Tote in Saddle/ Blush Interior

The Harper Lawrence: Lawrence Tote in Taupe/Dusty Blue Interior
When I finally got my hands on the Lawrence Tote, it all clicked. I am forever on the hunt for different brands, and this bag put a smile on my face. It once again proved that plenty of other options exist; you just need to find them. The design of the Lawrence Tote is what initially pulls you in, but it’s the details that keep you there. The leather is rich and smooth with just enough structure to hold its shape without feeling stiff, and the overall design feels incredibly considered.
The design elements that had initially grabbed my attention were still what lured me in: the white stitching that stands out against the body of the bag and the contrasting interior color. The front leather ties can be knotted to finish off the bag, leaving this design feeling very elegant while also having the right touch of accessibility and wearability. It’s that ideal combination of the two.
Functionally, it delivers as well. The size is generous without veering into oversized territory, and the interior gives you the space you actually need for day-to-day life. It can actually fit a laptop and sits comfortably over your shoulder. It’s one of those rare bags that feels both beautiful and practical, which is ultimately what most of us are looking for, even if we don’t always admit it.
The Lawrence Tote is available in a variety of color options, with dimensions of 11.75″ H x 10.5″ L x 7″ W with a 9.5″ shoulder strap drop, and a clever exterior back pocket. Price is $695. The back of each bag has an open pocket that sits flush to the bag
The Mini Option
I was stuck within the Lawrence family, though there are more designs, but this is what originally lured me in. The Mini Jeannie offers the same design in a smaller size.

The Mini Option: The Harper Lawrence Mini Jeannie in Lilac
If the Lawrence Tote is your everyday, do-it-all bag, the Mini Jeannie feels like its more playful counterpart. It’s smaller, a bit more statement-making, and perfect for when you want something that still feels elevated but a touch more fun. What I appreciate most is that, despite its smaller size, it doesn’t lose sight of the brand’s focus on quality and craftsmanship.
The smaller Jeannie has measurements of 9” H x 8″ L x 4.25″ W with a 5” handle drop, and an optional 22″ crossbody strap. Price for the Mini Jeannie is $595.
Together, these two styles give a really clear sense of what Harper Lawrence is doing well. There’s a strong point of view, a focus on quality, and a quiet confidence in the designs, which don’t rely on logos or obvious branding. And while this was the first design that led me to discover the brand, it won’t be the last I take a look at.
