As former fashion professionals in New York City, Heather Harper, a publicity executive at Anne Klein, and Laura Lawrence Wilcock, a buyer at Saks Fifth Avenue, we spent years immersed in design, craftsmanship, and the rhythm of the industry.
As we navigated new chapters - motherhood, new fields, and new perspectives - we reconnected, both feeling the pull of creativity that had defined our early careers. The idea of building something enduring kept surfacing. We envisioned a collection of handbags that married timeless elegance with everyday practicality.
After months of research, travel, sketches, and sourcing - Harper Lawrence officially launched in 2016. What began as a conversation between two dear friends has become a brand defined by integrity, beauty, and the belief that true luxury should feel personal.
